  • TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE AND INSPECTED ON THE LIFT. WE FOUND THE FRONT DRIVERS STRUT APPEARS TO BE VERY WEAK AND SEE SOME SEEPAGE FROM THE STRUT. PASSENGER SIDE IS OK. THE LOWER CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS ARE WORN OUT AND HAVE SOME PLAY. SUGGEST REPLACING THE LOWER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLIES COMPLETE WITH NEW BUSHINGS AND ALSO REPLACE THE FRONT STRUTS WITH NEW BEARING TOPS ON THE STRUT MOUNTS.
  • INSPECTED AND NOTED THE OIL LEAKS AND THE AREAS. CLEANED THE OIL SOAKED AREAS AND RE INSPECTED AFTER RUNNING THE ENGINE FOR A SHORT WHILE. FOUND THE LEAKS COMING FROM THE UPPER AND LOWER OIL PAN. ALSO THE OIL LEVEL SENDER IS LEAKING OUT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE OIL PAN. FRONT CRANKS SEAL IS NOT LEAKING. SUGGEST WE RE SEAL BOTH THE UPPER AND LOWER OIL PANS AND REPLACE THE OIL LEVEL SENDER SEAL – PERFORM A OIL SERVICE AT THE SAME TIME. SEE ESTIMATE FOR THIS RECOMMENDED REPAIR.
  • WHEN WE SCANNED FOR THE FAULTS, THE CODE WAS COMING IN RANDOMLY NOT ALL THE TIME. TEST DROVE SEVERAL TIMES AND SEE WHY THE COMPLAINT IS VALID. AFTER CAREFUL EXAMINATION AND DIAGNOSING – WE COME THE CONCLUSION THAT AFTER THE INSPECTION OF THE CHASSIS WE FOUND THE DRIVE CV AXLES HAVE EXCESSIVE PLAY IN THEM IN THE INNER BALL BEARING CAGE UNDER THE RUBBER GREASE BOOT. THIS PLAY CAN CREATE HAVIC ON THE ABS SYSTEM AND REGISTER A DIFFERENT READING THAT WILL CREATE THE FAULT CODES. WE NEED TO REPLACE THE CV AXLES IN ORDER TO RESOLVE THE COMPLAINT POTENTIALLY. THERE IS NO OTHER FAULT IN THE SYSTEM THAT COULD BE PRESENT AT THIS TIME. THE ABS SENSORS ARE READING CORRECTLY AND ARE ACTIVE AL THE TIME. BUT THE SPEED OF THE TRANSMISSION AND THE WHEELS ARE NOT ALIGNED, WE SUSPECT THE PLAY IN THE CV AXLES ARE CAUSING THE FAULTS. SUGGEST REPLACING THE CV AXLES – BOTH AND RECHECK AFTER THE REPAIR.
  • RELATED TO THE CV AXLES LAGGING IN RESPONSE TO DRIVING.
  • REMOVED BOTH OLD WORN CV AXLES AND REPLACED WITH NEW CV AXLES. TOPPED OFF THE TRANSMISSION OIL.
  • REMOVED BOTH FRONT OLD WORN OUT STRUTS AND THE STRUT MOUNT BEARINGS. REPLACED WITH NEW FRONT STRUTS AND NEW STRUT MOUNT BEARINGS. REASSEMBLED THE VEHICLE AND TEST DROVE. VEHICLE FEELS MORE LIKE THE FACTORY ORIGINAL AND OR SPORT THE SPORT STATUS IT WAS CREATED TO BE.
  • REMOVED BOTH OLD WORN LOWER CONTROL ARMS ASSEMBLIES AND REPLACED WITH NEW LOWER CONTROL ARMS WITH ALL NEW BUSHINGS.
  • COMPLETE ALIGNMENT
  • REMOVED THE TRANSMISSION TO ACCESS THE UPPER OIL PAN. REMOVED BOTH LOWER AND UPPER OIL PANS. CLEANED OF ALL OIL AND DEBRIS. REMOVED THE OLD OIL LEVEL SENSOR O-RING AND CLEANED THE SENSOR. REPLACED THE O-RING SEAL TO THE OIL LEVEL SENSOR AND RESEALED BOTH UPPER AND LOWER OIL PANS. RE INSTALLED THE TRANSMISSION AND TOPPED OFF THE FLUID. FILLED THE ENGINE WITH NEW OIL AND REPLACED THE FILTER. TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE TO PROOF THE REPAIR AND RECHECK. NO OIL LEAKS ARE DETECTED AND OR POTENTIALLY AT THIS TIME.
